Gender equality has been a fundamental commitment of Green Horse Advisory since its inception. The firm boasts a 50/50 gender split across senior, mid, and junior teams, with 40% of partners being women and 50% of other qualified lawyers identifying as female. These figures are remarkable in an industry known for its lack of diversity.

In 2023, Green Horse established a new community for women and men in renewable energies called “The Wire Club”. Members of Green Horse Advisory are dedicated to identifying and eliminating potential obstacles in women’s careers, particularly concerning work-life balance, ensuring that every woman has equal opportunities for a fulfilling career and personal life.

The Wire Club is a project aimed at involving women and men in the renewables sector who recognize the significant contributions women can make to the industry. It emphasizes the importance of providing opportunities for women to thrive throughout their careers and advance to leadership positions. Through the Wire Club, we organize conferences, networking events, internships, training, and mentoring programs for deserving female students at universities.

We have chosen to partner with Sopowerful Foundation to fund numerous of their projects and assist in empowering several of the local communities they have selected.
Sopowerful focuses on applying solar energy in the areas such as Healthcare, Education, and Water Access, and is especially active in Malawi, Tanzania and Lebanon. With 23 projects already completed and many more in progress, they have made a significant impact.
In addition to our financial contributions, we are pleased to offer SoPowerful pro bono legal support to aid in their operations.

Green Horse Advisory is a proud sponsor of the Dock3 – The Startup Lab programme promoted by Università degli Studi Roma Tre and sponsored by main energy players, including Eni and Acea. This the the 4^th year we sponsor this incredible program which brings together 100 talented students from 75 universities across Europe, who form teams and collaborate on innovative start-up ideas.

As an award sponsor that is passionate about supporting sustainability, this year we selected Agrisky for their dedication and innovative solutions for combining vertical farming and carbon and water footprint offsetting. They received a prize of 7,500 Euros and are also receiving pro bono legal and financial advice from Green Horse Advisory.

In the past years we have offered the same kind of support to Lit, whish is developing a meter capable of recognizing – thanks to machine learning – the origin of domestic energy consumption, and helping people reduce electrical consumption.
